*RUPA BUMI DAN LANGIT*

21 Oktober 2016

Budi menjawab :
"Tuhan berbicara banyak melalui alam ciptaan-Nya.

Budi menarik nafas panjang sambil berkata :

Oratio
Ya Tuhan, tambahkanlah iman kami. Amin.

Missio
_Marilah kita melakukan karya kerahiman dengan mendengarkan Tuhan melalui alam ciptaan-Nya._

*Have a Blessed Friday.*

SabdaNya.
Jum'at  21 - 10 - 16.

Ef 4:1-6.
Luk 12 :54-59.

Shalom,

Didlm hati sbnrnya mrk pasti mengakuinya ttp krn takut dg org2 Farisi, mrk tdk mau mengakuinya.

Kristus mengingatkan bhw tdk selamanya mrk mempunyai kesempatan untk mau mengakui Dia sbg Mesias n mengikuti sgl ajaran2Nya.

Hidup didlm kasih spt yg diajarkan Kristus, menunjukkan bhw kita sungguh2 mengakui Dia sbg Tuhan didlmn hdp kita shg ketika Bapa memanggil  untk pulang, ketika kita hrs menghadapi Penghakiman Terakhir, kita blh luput dr hukuman api neraka.

Dg hdp didlm kasih, kitapun dpt menjadi tanda2 yg nyata akan kehadiran Allah ditengah dunia ini shg bnyk org jg blh mengalami keselamatan melalui diri kita.
(Yoh 13 : 34-35)

Kehadiran Allah ditengah dunia saat ini sbnrnya sngt nyata melalui berbagai tanda2 yg Dia perlihatkan :
  melalui peristiwa2 alam,
melalui kasih yg tulus dr org2 disekitar kita dlsb.

Dg tanda2 itu Kristus mau terus membimbing, mengarahkan n meneguhkan kita dlm perjalanan menuju rumah Bapa.

Hanya sayangnya kita srg kali tdk cukup peka untk melihat / menangkap tanda2 itu krn kesibukan, kekerasan hati, kesombongan atau sikap acuh tak acuh dlsb.

Hari ini kita diingatkan kembali untk melihat kehadiran Allah ditengah dunia ini melalui tanda2 yg Dia anugerahkan.

Allah jg menginginkan kita agar sbg murid2 Kristus, baik secara pribadi maupun bersama didlm kelompok, kitapun dpt dijadikanNya alat2Nya untk menyatakan kehadiranNya kepd bnyk org.

Gbu all n hv a blessed Friday.

Friday, 21st OCTOBER
Luke 12:54-59

He also said to the multitudes, "When you see a cloud rising in the west, you say at once, 'A shower is coming'; and so it happens.

And when you see the south wind blowing, you say, 'There will be scorching heat'; and it happens.

You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of earth and sky; but why do you not know how to interpret the present time?"

The world, as the masterpiece of an artist, is marked by the signature of its Creator. We receive the gifts of God and can take them for granted: our lives, our family, the world, our intelligence, friends... everything! But some people do not bother to find out where all these come from and why they have been granted to them.

In Jules Verne's novel 'Mysterious Island' he writes about a group of men shipwrecked on an unknown island. They believed themselves to be alone but at critical moments they received help: a toolbox; a rope hanging from a rock; enemies exterminated...

However, they didn't know where it came from.

One night, finding themselves lost at sea after an exploration, they saw a bonfire from afar that served as a beacon to guide them. This fire saved their lives. The seafarers believed that the fire had been lit by their leader, who had remained on land. But later they discover that it wasn't him. The main character of the novel tries to find the mysterious helper, but some others don't care who provides that help; they just benefit from it without asking questions.

As in Verne's novel, some people see the world but don't bother to ask 'Who made it?' After all, 'nothing comes from nothing'. If we find a football in the jungle we wonder

L how it ended up there; we need an explanation because we know that footballs don't grow on trees. A human soul - capable of loving and thinking - is to the material universe what a football is to a jungle.

Towards the end of the adventure, the main character says: "What I do know is that a beneficent hand has constantly protected us since our arrival on the island, that we all owe our lives to a good, generous, and powerful being." He did not stop searching and eventually he found his benefactor.

Mary, Mother of the Creator, help men to encourage everyone never to stop looking for the reason behind everything, searching for the Truth.

Commentary of the day :

Knowing how to interpret the signs of the times

In the climate of increased cultural and religious pluralism which is expected to mark the society of the new millennium, it is obvious that this dialogue will be especially important in establishing a sure basis for peace and warding off the dread spectre of those wars of religion which have so often bloodied human history. The name of the one God must become increasingly what it is: a name of peace and a summons to peace.
Dialogue, however, cannot be based on religious indifferentism, and we Christians are in duty bound, while engaging in dialogue, to bear clear witness to the hope that is within us (cf. 1 Pt 3:15)… This missionary duty, moreover, does not prevent us from approaching dialogue with an attitude of profound willingness to listen. We know in fact that, in the presence of the mystery of grace, infinitely full of possibilities and implications for human life and history, the Church herself will never cease putting questions, trusting in the help of the Paraclete, the Spirit of truth (cf. Jn 14:17), whose task it is to guide her "into all the truth" (Jn 16:13).

This is a fundamental principle not only for the endless theological investigation of Christian truth, but also for Christian dialogue with other philosophies, cultures and religions. In the common experience of humanity, for all its contradictions, the Spirit of God, who "blows where he wills" (Jn 3:8), not infrequently reveals signs of his presence, which help Christ's followers to understand more deeply the message which they bear. Was it not with this humble and trust-filled openness that the Second Vatican Council sought to read "the signs of the times"? (Gaudium et spes, §4)

Even as she engages in an active and watchful discernment aimed at understanding the "genuine signs of the presence or the purpose of God", (§11) the Church acknowledges that she has not only given, but has also "received from the history and from the development of the human race"(§44). This attitude of openness, combined with careful discernment, was adopted by the Council also in relation to other religions.

Tips of the day: day 1497.

"Give yourself a give of rest".

(Lukas 10:39b-40a, 41-42).

Selamat pagi sahabat,
have a blessed Friday!
