Story Rise of a Young Girl

Natural occurrence is happening all over the world, including in Indonesia. Flash Flood in Wasior, Earthquake & Tsunami in the Mentawai, Eruption of Mount Merapi, has resulted in hundreds of people died, thousands of people living in refugee camps. Family members, income and wealth, is lost in an instant.

A friend asked, "Why has this happened? When and where and who will get the next disaster?

In the story raise of Lazarus (John.11:1-44). Jesus wept see sadness of the families left behind Lazarus (Mary, Martha and other family members). Jesus share the grief with Mary and Martha, then went to the tomb of Lazarus. Jesus also took an action to free people (Mary and Martha) from the suffering that is being handcuff them, then He raised Lazarus.

Story Rise of a Young Girl:

First met, she avoids eye contact.
Maybe she was embarrassed and felt alienated.
Maybe she missed the situation of home
She always comparing everyone
She felt there was nothing comparable to her family
No one ever makes her, rejoice

One year after that ...
There is a change in her
She was not bent and bowed her head again
She has stood up and walked with an upright
She started paying attention to her clothes
She often smile
She is beautiful now
She has far different

She has internal power

Once time, she would tell
There is a friend who was always willing to listen to her
Though she knew her friend was a busy person
She felt accepted and appreciated
She feels there is life here
She learned to accept herself
She learned to accept the people around her
She felt accepted in their communities

Now
She learned to help others to rise.
