Lectio
Gal 3:7-14; Mzm 111:1-2,3-4,5-6; Luk 11:15-26.

Keluarga Bima adalah keluarga kecil dan sederhana. Tetapi karena kesibukan pekerjaan, membuatnya sering berargumentasi dengan Sarah, isterinya. 

Suatu malam, ketika pulang ke rumah dan dilihat tidak ada makanan di meja makan, ia berkata :
"Ini mirip waktu jaman Kos-kosan dulu. Tidak ada makanan!" 

Mendengar itu Sarah membalas :
"Kamu biasanya makan di luar?" 

Mendengar orangtuanya mulai cekcok, Hanlie, anak pertama mereka pergi ke kamar, mengambil roti, memberikannya pada sang ayah dan berkata :
"Papa mama, keluarga kita bisa ribut hanya karena makanan. Tetapi kita tidak pernah berdoa bersama kepada Tuhan yang empunya makanan. Mari kita berdoa bersama." 

Lalu Hanlie menarik tangan ayah dan ibunya sehingga mereka saling berpegangan, lalu iapun memimpin doa bersama. Setelah selesai berdoa, Hanlie berkata :
"Papa mama, mari saling memeluk. Tuhan sudah hadir dalam keluarga kita."
Lalu merekapun saling berpelukan, dan kemudian sambil memeluk Hanlie, sang ayah berkata :
"Terima kasih Nak."

Yesus berkata kepada mereka :
"Setiap kerajaan yang terpecah-pecah pasti binasa, dan setiap rumah tangga yang terpecah-pecah, pasti runtuh."

Ketika keluarga berdoa bersama, akan selalu bersama.

Ya Tuhanku, tinggalah selalu bersama keluarga kami. Amin.

Missio
_Marilah kita melakukan karya kerahiman dengan setia memberikan waktu dan kehadiran kita untuk berdoa, makan dan bermain bersama._

"FIAT VOLUNTAS TUA"

Jumat 7 Okt.

 Injil Lukas 1:38, menulis.

Kata Maria; "Sesungguhnya aku ini hamba Tuhan; jadilah padaku menurut perkataanmu itu"

Hari ini kita memperingati Santa Maria, Ratu Rosario.

Apakah anda pernah membayangkan dan bertanya dalam hati,  apa jadinya ya seandainya bunda Maria setelah mendengarkan kabar dari malaekat Gabriel pada waktu itu, tidak menjawab: "fiat voluntas tua..? (Lukas 1:38).
Bila Bunda Maria tidak bersedia mengandung Imanuel, kita tidak tahu adakah wanita lain yang sepantas Bunda Maria untuk melahirkan Yesus. 

Bila Bunda Maria pada waktu itu berkata "sori deh, saya tidak bersedia!", kita juga tidak tahu apakah Allah akan jadi mengutus anakNya ke dunia. 

Dengan kata lain, besarnya jasa Bunda Maria bagi dunia, bagi kita semua. Dan untuk segala kebaikannya itu, kita selayaknya mengucapkan terima kasih kepada bunda Maria. Bulan Oktober, bulan Rosario memberi banya kesempatan kepada kita untuk berterima kasih kepada Bunda Maria.

Caranya, selama bulan Oktober ini kita hanya memuji dan berterima kasih kepada Bunda Maria, terlebih atas kebaikannya selama ini atas jawabannya "fiat voluntas tua"nya. Kita berterima kasih atas Yesus yang dibawanya kepada kita.

Bunda Maria, terima kasih atas kesediaanmu melahirkan melahirkan Yesus bagi kami. Amin.

Friday, 7th October
Our Lady of Rosary
Luke 11:15-26

Jesus said to the Jews: "If Satan is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand?

 For you say that I cast out demons by Be-elzebul... But if it is by the finger of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. 

When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace; but when one stronger than he assails him and overcomes him, he takes away his armour in which he trusted, and divides his spoil.

 He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters."

Lucifer (which means 'morning star') was one of the top angels in glory, wisdom and power. But he thought he could fight against God and, obviously, he was wrong. 

Then he decided to fight against the children of God. Such a powerful angel against humans was a very one-sided war. He thought he was like the strong man of the parable, fully armed and with his goods in peace. But if the devil thought that he could overcome men, he was wrong again, because God became a man and that 'stronger Man' defeated him.

There is a tale of a few ants that were having a banquet over the skin of an elephant while the elephant was sleeping. 

Suddenly, the elephant got up and in a quick shake sent them off. 

All but one. 

One ant found itself hanging on to a hair under the elephant's mouth. From the ground the other ants started calling up to him: 'Come on! Don't give up! It's almost yours. Smother it with your bare hands!' The devil has less chance of defeating God than that ant had of smothering the elephant...

If we are united to Christ we are safe. And precisely for that reason the enemy will always try to separate us from Him. You see? 

The enemy thought he could fight against us, and indeed we are no match for him, but he trembles at the Name of Jesus, he trembles at the name of Our Lady, and "he trembles and flees at the sight of your Guardian Angel", as St John Bosco taught. Do you see the whole picture? 

A good Christian is shielded behind Jesus, Our Lady, St Joseph (who is called "Terror of the demons"), St Michael the Archangel, your Guardian Angel... It is certainly a one-sided battle: the enemy has no chance. Mary, Queen of Angels, let me be always shielded by you.

The month of October is the special month of the Rosary. We all love to be reminded of the things that make us happy. A mother, for instance, may love a particular song that reminds her of her first date with her husband or the birth of her child. The song may not be the best song ever, but she loves it. And Mary loves to be reminded that she is the Mother of God, that the Lord is with her, that she is blessed, full of grace...

A man once told a priest that he preferred to say other prayers. To which the priest answered: 'God sent not His prophets, but His Immaculate Mother to Fatima to tell us, not just once but six times, that we had to say the rosary every day. If a mother sends her child to the shop for a bottle of milk, and he comes back instead with ice cream, is she pleased? In a way, ice cream is better than milk, but it is not what she asked for'. In that most holy home in Nazareth, do you think that Our Lady had to ask for anything twice? If we want in any way to be like Jesus, we must do what His Mother asks.

Sister Lucia who was present at the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima, said: "In these last times in which we live, the Most Holy Virgin has given a new power to the recitation of the Holy Rosary. There is no problem that cannot be solved by the Rosary; no matter how difficult it is, whether temporal or above all, spiritual, in the personal life of each one of us, of our families, of the families of the world, or of the religious communities, or even of the life of peoples and nations". 

When Our Lady appeared in Lourdes to St Bernadette, the girl pulled out her rosary. As Bernadette prayed out loud, the Virgin passed the beads of her rosary between her fingers in silence (it wouldn't make any sense for Our Lady to pray to herself, but she did recite the Gloria's with her). 

How nice it is, Mary, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, to pray the Rosary with you.

Tips of the day: day 1485.

Sesuatu dikatakan instan kalau cepat, tetapi cepat tidak selalu berarti instan.

Memberi layanan harus cepat tapi tidak berarti harus instan sampai kita harus mengabaikan sejumlah prosedur. 

Boleh cepat asal disertai proses yang benar.

Seseorang membangun rumahnya diatas pasir, ini instan. Tidak perlu repot-repot membangun fondasi, bangunan langsung berdiri. Sementara ada yang membangun rumah diatas batu, ini butuh proses yang lama, biaya dan upaya ekstra.

Ketika banjir datang, rumah yang dibangun secara instan menjadi roboh, rumah yang dibuat melalui proses tetap berdiri kokoh.

Waktu yang akan membuktikan. Pilih proses atau instan? "

"Setiap orang yang mendengar perkataan-Ku ini dan melakukannya, ia sama dengan orang yang bijaksana, yang mendirikan rumahnya di atas batu. Kemudian turunlah hujan dan datanglah banjir, lalu angin melanda rumah itu, tetapi rumah itu tidak rubuh sebab didirikan di atas batu." 

(Matius 7:24-25).
