"If the people of this world hate you, just remember that they hated me first."

Classical problems that this world seems to hate Christians / religious people. Why? Is it because their religion is more loved their family and friends than personal interests? Public interest is more important than personal interests? Or because they have been generous with those who forgive others do evil to them? Or maybe the impossible idea that loving friends and family in such a way as to impede the progress and business interests?

The Buddhist (Buddhist religion), believe in karma, that every good deed must produce good fruit. Maybe it's karma could be sooner or later, all in good time.

Jesus to do good in His life, healing the sick, turn on those who have died, and gave advice to make life better (repent of error). But why did Jesus have to face torture to have to die on the cross? Those who take the notion that positive self-sacrificing deeds of Jesus himself, let go of personal ego, to have died because of slander, has obtained the 'karma' the goodness of the Almighty Himself raised on the third day.

Lyn is a woman who lived simply, having a husband who earn barely enough to live with two children. Lyn always try to pay attention to the interests of his family including attention to his extended family (uncle, aunt, nephew, etc.), so she got an offer to go around China with a large family. (Free of charge). Is Lyn gets 'karma' good deeds / her attention? Or?

"Jikalau dunia membenci kamu, ingatlah bahwa ia telah lebih dahulu membenci Aku daripada kamu."


Persoalan klasik bahwa seolah-olah dunia ini membenci orang kristen/ orang beragama. Mengapa ? Apakah karena mereka yang beragama lebih mencintai keluarganya dan teman-temannya dibandingkan kepentingan pribadi ? Kepentingan umum lebih penting daripada kepentingan pribadi ? Ataukah karena mereka telah murah hati dengan mengampuni sesama mereka yang berbuat jahat kepada mereka ? Atau mungkin idea yang mustahil bahwa mencintai sahabat dan keluarga sedemikian rupa sehingga menghambat kemajuan dan kepentingan bisnis ?

Para Budhis (pemeluk agama budha), percaya akan karma, bahwa setiap perbuatan baik tentu menghasilkan buah yang baik. Mungkin karma itu bisa cepat atau lambat, semua ada waktunya.

Yesus berbuat baik selama hidupnya menyembuhkan orang sakit, menghidupkan orang yang telah mati, dan memberi nasehat agar hidup lebih baik (bertobat dari kesalahan). Namun mengapa Yesus harus menghadapi penyiksaan hingga harus wafat di salib ? Mereka yang positip mengambil pemikiran bahwa perbuatan Yesus mengorbankan diri sendiri, melepaskan ego pribadi, hingga harus wafat karena fitnahan, telah mendapat 'karma' hasil kebaikan yaitu Yang Maha Kuasa mengbangkitkan diri-Nya pada hari yang ketiga.

Lyn adalah seorang wanita yang hidup sederhana, mempunyai suami yang berpenghasilan pas-pasan untuk hidup dengan kedua anaknya. Lyn selalu berusaha memperhatikan kepentingan keluarganya termasuk perhatian kepada keluarga besarnya (paman, bibi, keponakan, dan lain-lain), sehingga dia mendapat tawaran untuk pergi keliling china bersama anggota keluarga besar. (tentu saja dibayarkan). Apakah Lyn mendapat 'karma' baik dari perbuatan/ perhatiannya ? Atau ???
