"Then everyone who has faith in the Son of Man will have eternal life."

Mary is a child who is highly respected religious figure and had many followers. Since childhood, she studied at the Catholic school. And as an adult, Mary asked permission of her father and mother, to embrace the Catholic religion.

The father asked, "Are you confident with your choice?"
"Yes, father."
"What are your convictions?"
"The promise of Jesus that is written in the Gospel and the Bible."
"What if it's not true? Bible is made by human hands. Not from the whisperings of the Angel of God."
"Actually I've got a couple of times a dream, where Jesus asked me to spread His good news to people around me. And the catholic church is not a new church there, already many holy men and women who sacrificed their lives and souls to the church. And I believe that this is the right path. "
"If you believe, that it is the best way for you, I let you."

Decision of the father who is a religious figure, many of his friends and his followers, they questioned the decision of 'not fair', a decision that 'extremely dangerous'.

The father explained better to embrace his religion a person with confidence and running properly, rather than just a word that he was religious but his action far cry from what he said or learned.

"supaya setiap orang yang percaya kepada-Nya beroleh hidup yang kekal."


Maria adalah seorang anak tokoh agama yang sangat dihormati dan mempunyai banyak pengikutnya. Sejak kecil, Maria belajar di sekolah katolik. Dan saat dewasa, Maria meminta izin pada ayah dan ibunya, untuk memeluk agama katolik.

Sang Ayah bertanya,"Apakah kamu sudah yakin dengan pilihanmu?"
"Ya, ayah."
"Apa yang menjadi keyakinanmu?"
"Janji Yesus yang tertulis di Injil dan Alkitab."
"Bagaimana jika itu tidak benar? Alkitab di buat oleh tangan manusia. Bukan dari bisikan Malaikat Allah."
"Sebenarnya aku pun sudah mendapatkan beberapa kali mimpi, dimana Yesus memintaku untuk mengabarkan kabar baik-Nya kepada orang-orang di sekelilingku. Dan gereja katolik bukanlah gereja yang baru ada, sudah banyak orang suci yang mengurbankan hidup dan jiwa mereka untuk gereja. Dan aku percaya bahwa ini adalah jalan yang benar."
"Jika kamu yakin, bahwa itu adalah jalan terbaik bagimu, aku mengizinkanmu."

Keputusan sang Ayah yang merupakan tokoh agama, banyak di tentang oleh teman-temannya serta para pengikutnya, mereka mempertanyakan keputusannya yang 'tidak wajar', keputusan yang 'sungguh berbahaya'.

Sang Ayah menjelaskan lebih baik seseorang memeluk agamanya dengan penuh keyakinan dan menjalankan dengan benar, dari pada hanya berkata-kata bahwa dia beragama tetapi kelakuanannya jauh sekali dari yang perkataannya atau yang dipelajarinya.
