Filipus, seorang murid Yesus, diminta malaikat Tuhan, untuk menempuh suatu perjalanan ke daerah yang tidak umum, jalan sepi. Dan Filipus mengikuti permintaan malaikat Tuhan, sehingga dia bertemu seorang pembesar dari Etiopia yang sedang membaca kitab nabi Yesaya. Berawal dari ketertarikan akan ayat-ayat tersebut, berlanjut dengan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang Kasih, Kesengsaraan dan Kebangkitan Yesus, membuat pembesar/ kepala perbendaharaan Ratu Sri Kandake, memutuskan untuk di baptis karena percaya Yesus Kristus adalah Anak Allah.

Teodor (+613) adalah anak tidak sah. Ibu dan kakak perempuannya mengelola warung dan tempat pelacuran. Sewaktu kecil, Teodor dititipkan pada neneknya, yang kemudian dikristenkannya. Saat dewasa, Teodor masuk biara dan kemudian dipilih menjadi uskup Anastasianopolis (Turki). Selama 10 tahun, Teodor memangku jabatan ini. Teodor dianugerahi Tuhan, rahmat penyembuhan. Yosef Moscati (1880-1927) adalah seorang dokter muda yang menyelamatkan banyak penderita penyakit jiwa dari bahaya letusan gunung berapi Vesuvio (Italia). Walaupun Yosef Moscati, seorang ahli riset dan mahaguru kedokteran di universitas Napoli, dia tetap membantu orang-orang miskin dan terlantar dengan cuma-cuma. Yosef Moscati mempunyai pengaruh besar dalam umat sebagai rasul awam yang terpelajar dan rendah hati. (Gereja Katolik memperingati beliau sebagai orang kudus, 22 April)
